Ten Wilderness Survival Tools

Most outdoor enthusiasts have no idea that what needs to put in their first aid kit.  We think it should be the necessary supplies to cross the desert wilderness. Of course, GPS and a satellite phone will be very useful, but there are other things we need to carry with us. Below is Ten Wilderness Survival Tools.

1, Knife

Never throw it away at home, a sharp knife is essential to build shelter, prepare food, open a bonfire and deal with other problems.

2, Light and flammable gas tank

It is easy to ignite with flint when dry, but in humid weather, you may need a lighter and inflammable. A cotton ball covered in wax, a professional outdoor trekking burner, or a bottle of Bacardi 151 are your good choices.

3, Metal  container

Maintaining water compounds is far more important than finding food. With a metal container, you have the ability to sterilize microbes at high temperatures.

4,  First aid kit

First aid is more important than the loss. Your first aid kit should have items that can handle serious injuries – not just cuts and bruises. Take some Quick Clots or Celox to deal with severe bleeding, then tweezers, needlework, antibiotics, sunscreen and any special medicine you need for emergency use.

5, Plastic garbage bags

Thin and light.Use them to keep out rain and wind. Cutting three holes to make a temporary poncho.

6, Water Purification equipment

Drinking water with a lot of salt is harmful to health.  You can avoid a lot of troubles by properly filtering.

7, Whistle

When you get lost in the jungle, you should send out the signal for help first. Periodically sounded the whistle will consume less energy than you shout and the sound can pass further.

8, Flashlight

Flashlights can be found by search and rescue teams in the distance. This is a great way to attract others’ attention, as well as a very convenient method when no fire warning.

9, Tent

In extremely hot or cold weather, protecting yourself from being harmed will be half a successful trip.

10, High-calorie protein items

Hunting and fishing are more harm than good. Hunting food will burn more calories than you eat the meat. By carrying some snacks will save your physical energy consumption.
